The company was originally formed exclusively for coaching, which meshed well with their winter hobby of coaching high school bowling.  Fast forward to about a year later, when they both decided they wanted to do something more in the sport of bowling.  Their opportunity came when they began discussing the idea of building a pro shop in Shelby Lanes.  The owner of Shelby Lanes suggested an idea and provided a great space, and 12X Bowling took occupancy on June 1, 2016 and began remodeling shortly after that.  It was a long, sweaty summer, but 12X Bowling Pro Sho opened their doors to the public on Monday, August 22, 2016!
